What Are Airbrush Tattoos?
Using temporary ink, an airbrush gun, compressor and stencil, special paint is applied to the skin in a thin fast drying longer-lasting, waterproof layer. The ink used is hypoallergenic and approved by the FDA.
I use Pro Aiir Hybrid Formula Basic colours collection. This is professional Body FX makeup.
It is water-resistant, smudge-proof and long-lasting and it means the airbrush tattoos hold up in the heat (don’t sweat off) and the pool!
This paint is gentle to remove, hypoallergenic, won’t transfer, has a matt finish and is fast drying (like seconds).
It also has great coverage (for body painting), has blendable colours, FDA approved ingredients, is 100% safe for skin (including sensitive), and smells like bubblegum!
AND these tattoos can last up to 7 days.

How Are Airbrush Tattoos Applied?
With five simple steps you'll have a cool new airbrush tattoo!
- The area of skin is thoroughly cleaned using rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or dirt.
- The stencil is applied to the skin.
- Your new temporary tattoo is airbrushed on.
- Any overspray is removed using rubbing alcohol.
- To help it dry the tattoo it is dusted with setting powder.
What to expect when hiring the service of Blooming Body Art for airbrush
I will arrive 10 minutes early to set up (providing everything required, minus power unless organised otherwise) and will explain my process to work through the line and the options available. I will stay until the host is satisfied and will pack up and take all the rubbish away. Extra services are available upon request.
